The run
Drop in. Grab. Get out.
Every block is seeded: new streets, new vaults, a new condition. Nobody has run it before you.
Leave the shelter
Pick a pilot and a heat level, then run solo or open a squad and share the invite link. Twin-stick: WASD moves, the mouse aims and fires, Shift dashes.
Lift the first core
Cores sit in glowing vaults. The first one you lift reveals the extraction pad, always far from the shelter. Each core you carry costs speed.
Beat the rewrite
At one minute Core Zero surges the corrections. Stand on the pad to extract. Go down and your cores drop where you fell, unless a friend picks you up.

Overclock
Burn a core
Ability on cooldown? Press F to burn a carried core and fire your ability at double power. Spend the loot to save your life.
Stealth
Hide from the scans
Core Zero sweeps the block with a beam. Keep a building between you and it, or you are marked and every correction knows where you are.
Thieves
Nothing on the ground is safe
Archivists steal loose cores and carry them off to be rewritten into a vault. Chase them down to recover the loot.
Conditions
Every block has weather
Blackout, swarm, lockdown, acid rain or a mag storm change how the run plays, from how far you see to how far cores fly.
Stakes
Bring a kit, insure it or lose it
A shield plate, scan jammer, servo stim or decoy flare comes with you. Fall with it unused and it is gone, unless you insured it. Extract and it comes home.
Two exits
The far pad or the toll
The far pad is free. The shelter pad takes you out any time, but Core Zero keeps one core. Standing on either calls the uplink, and the uplink calls corrections.
The prime vault
One core worth three, behind a lock
The farthest vault is kept by the Vault Warden. Its keycard opens it. A supply cache drops mid-run, and a bounty target roams in with a second key.
Progress
Contracts, rank, streaks and heat
Three contracts a day pay on top of the run. Every run pays XP toward your rank, extracted or not. Consecutive extractions build a hot streak worth up to +50% scrap.
The pilots
19 pilots. One ability each.
Start with Brutus or Wesley and spend shelter scrap to unlock the rest. Q fires the ability; burning a core fires it at double power.

What do I keep after a run?
Extracted cores become shelter scrap for permanent upgrades and new pilots. Cores lost in the rewrite are gone.
